Nature is full of surprises, but when it comes to trail cam shooting, this is really not the case. It’s possible to stand in the way of some situations when a photographer is trying to track and then capture a beast. Animals have the ability to flee quickly thanks to their eyesight, hearing, or even how they interpret a certain environment. Here are the funniest, craziest, and most awkward trail cam photos.
Moments Seen In Trail Cams That Need To Be Explained

Things become interesting the moment a filmmaker is replaced with a good trail camera. The trail camera will always look for the most ideal pictures. When they are set up in hidden places and go unnoticed by animals, they always capture the strange, funny, and most of all beautiful lives of wildlife. Unfortunately, though, these cameras click. Here’s a look at the private lives of animals right from morning to evening through the lens of a nature trail camera.
Close Up

The raccoon seemingly had a party on their planet that evening. He was all dressed up in the best among his suits. He made sure his hair was well curled and then ended up smiling so well right in front of the camera that had been set up. Just assume that the part of the camera that prevents the red-eye effect has been put in place.
Deer with the Curse

Can you believe this buck that is looking so terrified has just watched a movie full of zombies? Do you have a problem standing up straight? Are they all set with their arms outstretched just waiting to capture the victim? Just see what’s going on. Why have the eyes gleaming and the mouth wide open? Looks like the deer here has transformed into a zombie himself.
Water Deer

Jump like there is no one in sight is what the ancient adage said. We have no idea where this specific photo was taken but as you can see, it features a Chinese Mule Deer that is gallantly making its way across a water body. This is a deer that hails from China as well as Korea. It is also in a very small way a North American deer descendant.
Standing Tall

There’s a good side to stretching your hind legs just the way a great black bear would. However, in this case, it looks a lot riskier than we thought. Can you imagine just walking on the road like you usually would then coming across this colossus? It looks like something too terrifying don’t you think?
Which way?

It does not matter where these deer are headed to, the entire herd is all in. The only issue is in the fact that they look rather worried about that road that is right in front of them. This is the case, except for the second deer that is on the right side. He seems ok with wherever direction they are set to go.
Escaping

As you can see, there are very many ducks that are headed in the backward direction. It is all too obvious that they had been trying to run away from shooting incident. Come to think of it, just someone pressing a shot gun is already enough to have you running away because it will instantly make your heart race.
Grey Fox, Grey Fox, Grey Fox

This photograph captures something very simple. it is just an image of fox high school student that will be graduating very soon. He looks very prepared, just waiting to be sent to his relatives as well as his friends. In any case, nothing is as enjoyable to any fox out there as spending his time running in the woods, right?
It’s okay to lean on it; it’s okay to rock on it

An elk rave all through the day certainly sounds a bit odd, but look, regardless, here we are. The two-spotted at the front are the life of the party while the other one right at the back is probably the designated driver. We cannot possibly say we find fault in him keeping his mask so straight.
Nature’s Reflection

The number of things that needed to be refined and even preserved in order to make this picture as amazing as you see it is incredibly immense. See how perfect this perspective is? That blue sky, see the motionless reflection and then there is the deer just slowly gazing. This is simply magnificent don’t you think? You wouldn’t even know if this was achieved by a trail cam or a photographer, right?
A Pro in the Mountains

This bobcat, seeing how courageous he is guards his mountain top for several hours just to make sure there is a remarkable level of consistency in the mountains. Frozen birds or even some tiny rodents will not be able to cut it. In just a single slice, he will manage to keep his mountain all clean and neat.
A trio of kings who rule

A “rafter” is usually the word that defines a whole community of turkeys that are being governed by three very good-looking kings in the rear. Honestly, we wouldn’t advise anyone to mess with them or even to invite them to a reunion on Thanksgiving. That would be such a terrible choice to make.
Death as a Cat

What can be scarier than coming face to face with a killer on the move? Well a killer that’s running around holding one of his victims in his jaws. As such, just be thankful that you were noticed second and not first like the victim in the jaws and while at it, do not even bother asking about the first victim.
Turkey’s Retaliation

This turkey had clearly been aware of just how you behaved on Thanksgiving Day in the previous year. Seemingly, he saw every single thing you did to the last detail. Looks like currently, he is the only turkey left standing, and well, looks like he is just on his way. What wide eyes!
Dreaded

A bald eagle, clearly an adult, had been photographed while holding a deer weighing around 15 pounds. For a creature that soars, that is quite a lot of weight. It’s not difficult to see why this wolf was compelled to flee despite having despite also being wild. The eagle had a lethal hooked beak and also had talons that were razor sharp.
On the Trail

Wolves, just like human beings, prefer to take that road that has very minimal resistance. To be honest, there really is no need for time wastage when there already exists a well-worn road, one they can use to get those golden opportunities they might be searching for in the wild.
2 for 1

Don’t start getting all excited! The animals in this picture are certainly not friends at all. The two are in competition for the carcass of a beaver that is not in sight. It’s somehow hidden. This is not something friends do right? Please, just give us some kind of assurance that you and your friends never behave like this…That would be rather odd.
Over the River and Across the Bridge

American Black Bears usually weigh up to 550 pounds which is quite heavy, although the average one just weighs around 200 pounds. Even though they are exceptional swimmers, this wise alien just decided to cross the river with the help of the bridge because it looks like that day was a bit too cold.
Imagining the Future

We’re not exactly certain about what is captured in this specific frame. That said, whatever is in the frame has clearly twisted those wild grasses in such a way that they are facing the west and has just placed the young coyote in an interesting state, one of pure bliss. Just look at him.
Lovely

A professor from Oregon saw it best to take this particular trail cam shot using an SLR camera. As you can see, there is an elegant as well as acrobatic hop over that tree that’s already fallen which in an amazing way demonstrates the strength and also poise of this very big cat. It’s simply marvelous.
A Turkey Takes Off

Wild turkeys are very much capable of going short distances. At times when night falls, they roost in those trees found in the wild. Sadly, the locally commercialized turkeys that are now domestic are unable to travel. This is as a result of their weights which have been raised through artificial means, thereby holding them down in such a grounded way.
Exceptional

Once again, we can’t understand how this snapshot was taken with just a trail cam. it’s simply an amazing shot! Just look at the design and lighting, the pacing also combines so well with the first two factors thus creating a captivating mosaic. This is truly photography at its best, as it should be and we just love it.
There Are Two in This Space

Your instinct has the ability to direct you to this obvious buck which just happens to be so large and brown. However, just take another good look at this snapshot. You will see something else that should capture your attention. Well, did you spot it? There is a snow-white albino that is standing at the back. Such a beauty. There’s always a natural camouflage at the back.
An Afternoon Detox

A cat is a cat and this remains so regardless of its species, its age or even position. The one in the picture is brushing himself while it is perched right on top of a fallen tree. This is such admirable behavior considering it’s a predator and there is no way we will convince him otherwise.
Mondays Are a Special Day

You did not get to work in good time, enough for you to wash your hair and even have a drink from your cup. Your car broke down as you were on your way and you had no choice but to abandon it as you walked all the way to work. So seemingly in the elk nation, this is one of those traditional Mondays that is, to say the least, very much hated.
There’s Plenty Time for Love

These two, who we cannot quite tell if they are elderly or young animals, are definitely in love with each other. They just cannot get enough of each other’s company as you can see. They could end up becoming ruthless enemies or the most passionate lovers as a result of being in each other’s company for just too long. For now thought, let’s just allow them to savor the good moments.
Is It Possible to Get so Many Points?

Bucks that have a lot of points are often thought to be the most masculine you can find. That said, what are we even supposed to think of this particular one, who from the looks of things has more points than a buck needs? Should he even be allowed to step out? He does look a little scary, don’t you think?
A Deer-Man

With these eyes that very much resemble forearms and these legs too, this deer easily comes across as a mix don’t you think? Every single thing about him just shouts that this is actually a human being, a man that’s just dressed as a deer. I mean, don’t you agree?
Wow! Parkour Is a Fun Sport to Do

Have you ever found yourself wondering if hunting for a deer is a brutal activity? Seeing as this trail camera has managed to capture a deer with some Matrix-like reflexes, it is so clear that hunting for a deer is not as simple as it appears to be.
Teamwork Makes The Dream Work

Just take a look at these raccoons. If we could say just one thing about them, it would be that they would never allow any kind of enmity to stand in their way, right? Do you see just how determined they are to get the food that had been hung there? This is quite some teamwork, don’t you think?
In Unison

At first sight, you will probably say that this is one very cool picture. However, if you take a few more minutes to look at it, you might just be convinced that this pack of wolves is actually a group of singers who are putting in a lot of effort, practicing so that they can make it into the choir.
Buffalo Backride

Nothing demonstrates friendship more than allowing your friend to have a rest on your back as you make your way to a specific destination, right? If these trail cams had not been set up, we probably would have never even known that in the wild, such things can occur. They look really cute, don’t you think?
You Messed With The Wrong Neighborhood

If you are not feeling any kind of fear just by taking a look at this picture then honestly, that’s on you. We find it rather scary because picture this, you were just taking a walk in the woods. Suddenly you notice a bunch of deer just there staring at you and even worse, they look like they are very much prepared to make a move.
Terrified Of A Flying Squirrel

We really have no telling as to what a flying squirrel can do when it spots another animal such as a deer. However, if we do spot a squirrel that’s flying coming our way, we would most certainly be more than terrified. We would take off on our heels as fast as possible.
Getting A Lift

Look at this very sweet-looking momma bear and her little one. Sure anyone would feel happy if they came across such a picture, considering just how cute the two animals are. We really cannot tell exactly what they were trying to get there but at the very least, we are happy we got to see such an amazing moment.
Impact In 3… 2… 1…

Here is a picture of yet another deer in some kind of predicament. Little did it know that there would be an owl just right there heading for its head. We wonder what reasons the owl had for doing this but one thing is for sure, the deer is just about to experience a different kind of pain, one that he will never forget.
Taking Care Of Her Kids

This mother fox obviously has her priorities right and very straight because she happens to be standing very still just to feed her little ones. Such a sweet mother, don’t you think? Just doing every single thing possible to ensure her young ones are well fed. She definitely deserves an award for being so responsible.
Raccoon Night Out

This is an example of a bunch of raccoons that are certainly having an amazing time. Just take a good look at them. They have so much food at their disposal and they are pretty much eating the night away. This is probably one of the most exciting nights they have had.
Looking Similar To A Disney Movie

If you are fortunate enough to have watched the Lion king then this picture will trigger your memory. It will remind you of that in fact. For sure there is no meerkat taking a ride on a hog but you could easily be cheated into believing that’s what is in the picture. One thing is for sure though, these two are very good friends.
The Last Thing The Trailer Cam Saw

According to the person who took this picture, their trailer camera was destroyed and had even cracked beyond repair when they found it. When they checked on the last image it had caught, this is what they found. If I was in their shoes, I wouldn’t even be upset because this, what the trailer camera caught last is too impressive.
