After the bids were turned down, most of the people there left, but a few stayed to eagerly wait for Joe to arrive and the sorting process to begin. When Joe opened the bag and looked inside, he felt guilty right away because he was the one responsible for the things inside.
Going Through It
Joe cautiously entered the room, apprehensive and curious about what he may discover inside. The realization that the container contained discarded and dirty furniture made him feel slightly better. On the other side, there was sufficient room between everything for him to roam around and observe everything there.
Breaking Even
Joe felt a cold sweat forming on the back of his neck and he realized that the furnishings that he found in the container wouldn’t be enough to cover the amount spent to pay for the container. They were great things, but he needed something much better to turn a profit. He began desperately hunting for solutions.
The Chance Find
Before settling on the dull gray container that was scattered over the floor next to a chest of drawers, Joe’s eyes scanned the room. He went over to it and tried to open it very immediately. Joe unwrapped a bundle of the waxy paper that was stored in the safe and discovered fifty dollar bills. As he proceeded further, he observed an increasing quantity of money. He was wondering about the previous owner of the container. How did the money end up there? Why would the authorities be interested in something like this?!

At long last, Joe was informed as to his actions. He couldn’t contain his enthusiasm and couldn’t wait to show his girlfriend the safe, so he sent her some pictures. Following that, he shared the contents of the safe across all of his social media platforms. That’s why the cops were called, actually.

Seeing the money he realized that there was enough for him to live well, even if he hadn’t counted them. He’d earned a million dollars, at last. At last, he decided to see a law enforcement official, but he soon learned that the cops weren’t the only ones curious about the safe’s contents.

Following Joe’s discovery of the money, he began to receive threats, which caused him to feel frightened. That was becoming a nightmare come true, and he needed answers fast. Whoever stashed the money there should have gotten it out of there immediately; why did they wait? In addition to that, he was concerned about the VHS tapes!
Finder’s Fee
Once the police arrived, everything was a blur. Shortly after that matter was resolved, Joe got a phone call from the attorneys representing the original owner. The attornies told him that he can keep $600,000 as a reward and he should give the rest back. That is not fair, but his options were limited. Or that is not true?
Threats
Even though it made him feel better to consider the possibility of being compensated monetarily for his troubles, he was aware that the attorneys were only trying to intimidate him. He was forced to consider the next step that he should have to take. On the other hand, he wasn’t ready to interact with the person who had originally owned the safe!
The Tapes
Joe was warned to avoid touching anything in the container until the investigation into the matter was concluded. Yet it was his responsibility to learn about what was on the VHS tapes. As a result, he tore open one of the plastic bags, dumped out the contents, and then loaded the items into the VCR.
Horrible Scenes
He claimed that he was present during something terrible and was shaken up as a result of what he saw on the recordings. In point of fact, he frequently had nightmares that were extremely terrifying. He tried to convince himself that they were fake cameras, but he was unsuccessful in his efforts.
