Onesti is a small town located in Romania’s beautiful Carpathian Mountains. It is the birthplace of the famous gymnast, Nadia Comaneci. Even as a child, Nadia was always active and constantly looking for new challenges. Her mother enrolled her in gymnastics classes with the hope of tiring her out, but instead, it ignited a passion in Nadia that never faded. She would tirelessly work on her jumps, flips, and tumbles, at any time and in any place.
