After school one day, James was making his journey home when he heard a noise in the river as he passed by. He looked towards the source of the noise and saw a dog, swimming desperately. Without a second thought, he dove forward and helped the dog get to the shore safely. The owner was nowhere in sight and the dog seemed as if it had been stranded for some time.
