The nun woke up from her very demonic state only to find herself soaked in ink. She then noticed a bizarre letter that had entered her room in the night. It was full of mysterious symbols and this only had one explanation. The letter had come from the devil. Strange that in over 340 years, nobody had been able to understand its contents up until now.
Sister Maria the Nun
The nun was Sister Maria Crocifissa Della Concezione who had taken spiritual refuge in Sicily Island, a place known for very deep Christian tradition. It is even said that Saint Paul the Apostle preached at the place more than 2000 years ago. However, wherever Christ abides, arguably, the devil must too and the nun seemingly faced a struggle when it came to both.
Arrival at the Convent
Sister Maria arrived at a Benedictine convent in Sicily when she was just 15 years old. There she received teachings on the Benedictine order of peace, prayer, and work. That said, despite her immense devotion, she was not at peace. If anything, she would often claim she was possessed by the devil. This is what eventually led to this strange letter.
